Joining the network

This network is open to anyone with an interest in leadership and teamwork development in any sector or context, including those practicing as coaches.

It will only become of value if people use it. There are many other networks available but we hope that this will allow a more personal exchange, and perhaps signposting to those other resources that you have found helpful.

To promote exchange there are some optional questions to fill out when you join. This will help others know what you want from the network, and also what you might want to offer.

Some background to this network

The idea behind this network is to provide a social networking forum for people from all sectors involved in coaching, and any other form of leadership and teamwork development.

This social network aims to complement the new Learning for Improvement Network for Leadership and Teamwork Development (LIN4LTD) run by CSIP Networks. This network will be of particular interest to people working in health and social care. See www.icn.csip.org.uk/leadership. The LIN4LTD hosts evolving mindmaps that include a wide range of resources for leadership and team development, such as training material, handouts, and sources of support. We hope that using mindmaps to store resources means that it continues to grow organically, in a way that remains accessible and easy to navigate. We can update you on new content via this network's discussion forum.

This social networking forum was also established in response to a desire among trainee coaches to maintain contact and develop a richer exchange. Some of us will be working towards the IML Diploma with Management Futures.

It is particularly exciting to see people from outside the UK signing in. This will make the exchange even richer.
